#MinimumRetirementAge

The Firm represented the Claimant, Prof. Stephen Okeyo who had been wrongfully terminated on the ground of minimum retirement age. The Court was satisfied that the Claimant was an academic staff and the retirement by the Respondent was premature. The decision to terminate him was in breach of contract, and unlawful. The Claimant was awarded Ksh. 13,943,621/-, costs of the suit and interest at Court rates from the date of judgement.

#MinimumWorkingHours

The Firm represented a Union in a case against the Respondent, who unfairly increased employee working hours without consultation, violating rights against forced labour, fair labour practices, and fair administrative action.
