An Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and his professional qualifications include an Honours Degree from Moi University and a postgraduate diploma in legal studies from the Kenya School of Law. He is the founder of the firm and is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, a Commissioner for Oaths and a Notary Public. He was admitted to the bar in 2007. He brings with him a wide range of experience in litigation, commercial law and conveyancing. He is currently a member Law Society of Kenya in good standing, and is a mentor to all employees in the firm.
KEY ROLES:
- Civil Litigation: Acting in various High Court Litigation matters on behalf of banks, Multinational Corporations, Oil Industry, Telecommunications industry, pharmaceutical industry state corporations, Tenancy Law, White Collar Crimes,
Defamation, Labour and Industrial Law and claims relating to realization of bank
securities.
- In Commercial law: Arbitration and Bankruptcy proceedings, corporate recovery
and securities review for secured and unsecured debts for banks and other financial institutions;
- Tax Law: Offers general and specific advisory to Clients and institute litigation proceedings on tax matters and claims arising therefrom.
- Environmental Law: Environmental disputes at the NEMA Tribunal. He is well versed with the Environmental processes across the country, offering legal services in the sector.
- Public Procurement: With experience in tender processes and administrative proceedings, Mr. Wafula has been able to successfully review proceedings before the Public Procurement Review Board and advise clients on the best tender practices.
In his private time, Mr. Wafula is an ardent golfer and a family man.
